"Mari Montana" is becoming a well known neighborhood name , and he does not plan on slowing down any time soon. "Mari Montana" keeps a luggage of discipline , which allows him to be a lot more successful at his craft.
We discovered "Mari Montana" on Sound Cloud , and we have become fans of his versatility , word play , and from doing research on the background of where "Mari Montana" is from , let's just say , he is NOT telling a fib about where he comes from , and what goes on.
We also jumped right into getting to know "Mari Montana" a little more. So we asked him to tell us a little bit about WHY he started making music. Check out what he said below:
"Okay, to be honest, I always been around music and studios because my older brother was already rapping when I was younger. I never used to care for rapping or recording anything though because I didn't see no future in it and that wasn't a passion of mine yet. I thought I would fall in line with producing making beats or something. My homeboys were already rapping, not seriously but just a little; For fun and for jokes when we hung around each other. One of my closest homeboys Dan, he died the night of Christmas in 2015, he was the main jokester and was always free-styling. If you look on his headstone, he got a microphone. Once I seen my homeboys like Coffee, Marlo, and Bleek dropping music and getting recognition, I told myself I'm going to just try this sh*% out one time. So I dropped my first official song on my Sound Cloud called "Kick Back" , and I got a lot of nice responses, and its been up from there. My brother Dan was really my whole inspiration to keep going with the music though.
(Summary Cont.) I felt like nobody really understand what I'm feeling now. I'm more quiet, too myself, holding in a lot of anger and don't really know how to express myself to anybody. So every night until about 5 in the morning I was writing a new song and I had to scream my dawg name in every song and how I lost him to gun violence. So music is a way for me to represent my boy, and keep his name alive while I'm still giving people my life, and how I'm feeling. I keep seeing myself progressing positively with every new track I record so I keep going till I can reach my full potential."
"Mari Montana" is a one of the few artist who deserve to be seen and heard from a talent stand point. Gun violence has led many communities around the WORLD, to lose a lot of young lives to a bullet of a gun.
Majority of the time, music is ALL Individuals like "Mari Montana" have, in order to make it out of the situation that they are in right now.
But without our help and support towards "Mari Montana" and his music career, he will not be able to progress the way that he needs to. 7heblogspot has spoke about this before, it literally cost a total of $0, let us repeat that, IT COST A TOTAL OF $0, TO SUPPORT AN ARTIST AND THEIR CRAFT. (2.) What is your favorite sport ? ( "I don't really got a favorite sport, I don't care for sports like that but basketball keep me interested the most ... when I'm watching it" )
(3.) How many siblings do you have ? ( "I have 2 siblings" )
(4.) What do you plan on doing in 5 years ? ( "In 5 years, I plan on living in a whole different state. Investing more, putting together charity events for my community mostly for children. Most of all I see myself traveling making new connections, on new business ventures, securing myself and my family and my dawgs, so we all stable and living the life I always dreamed for us." )
(5.) Are you spiritual or religious? ( " I believe in God and Jesus Christ. My family is Christian." )
(6.) What is the most difficult thing about your career path, and how will you over come it ? ( " The most difficult part is getting my name out there, further than just my city or surrounding cities. Majority of people pick and choose who they wanna support and rock with in my city based off how they feel about you or what they heard bout you, but I plan on just traveling to new cities and states and hitting the streets with it, giving the people a reason to know who I am and remember me." )
(7.) What is your favorite hobby ? ( "My favorite hobby now really is being in the studio working on my music shooting videos, what ever pertains to my music." )
